This 3 day, every other Saturday class prepares
you for taking the Massachusetts
Construction Supervisor Licensing Exam.
It’s also ideal for those looking for a review of the many changes in
the Massachusetts
Building code. The state requires a minimum of three years
experience in construction before filling out an application for this
license.
This class covers the Massachusetts State Building Code (sixth
edition for base code and seventh edition for one & two family
dwellings), and provides exam preparation by helping the course participants:

Requirements of the
State of Massachusetts
Board of Regulations
- You
must take and pass a Construction Supervisors Licensing Examination. The Unrestricted License allows you to
work on buildings less than 35,000 cubic feet of enclosed space and one –
and two family dwellings
- You
must be at least 18 years old at the time of the exam.
- You
must have at least three years of experience in building construction or
design in the field in which you desire to be licensed. Note the following: Your
work experience need not be consecutive, but you MUST document a minimum
of 36 months of fulltime work experience.
Include the month and year that you began and ended working for
each employer.
